What is Festaboard?
Festaboard is a web app that turns any screen with a browser into a retro split-flap board. You get a 6×22 character grid (the same layout as a Vestaboard), mechanical-style flip sounds, fullscreen mode, and live data on your messages.
Do I need a physical Vestaboard?
No. Festaboard runs entirely in the browser—on a laptop, desktop, tablet, or smart TV. There is no hardware to buy for the core experience.
Is Festaboard free?
Yes, it's free. Create an account and use the full board and the integrations described on the home page—no subscription required.
Which integrations work today?
Live clock and date (12h or 24h) and TrustMRR for SaaS metrics are part of the live story on the product. Other integrations (Spotify, weather, crypto, Home Assistant, and more) are documented as coming soon on the site.
How do I put the board on a TV?
Open Festaboard in your TV’s web browser (or connect a laptop via HDMI), sign in, open your board, and use fullscreen—keyboard F or the on-screen control. The chrome hides so only the split-flap grid remains.
Can I share my board with others?
You can share a read-only public link so others see your board without editing it. Tokens in those links are opaque; keep them private if you don’t want the board to be widely visible.
How does sign-in work?
Sign-in uses email and a one-time code (OTP) sent to your inbox—no password to remember for the default flow.
