A characterful office wall display for your lobby and team

A slideshow of PDFs fades into the background within a day. A split-flap board does not. Festaboard renders your message on a 6 x 22 grid of 132 character tiles, the same layout as a physical Vestaboard, and flips each tile with a soft mechanical sound when the text changes. People look up when the board moves, and that is the point of an office wall display in a busy space: it earns a glance without a screaming animation.

The flip sound is modeled to be softer and more pleasant than a harsh train-station board, and you can mute it entirely for a quiet reception. Pick from five themes, Classic Amber, Terminal Green, Clean White, Cool Blue, and Warm Red, so the board reads well against your wall and your lighting.

Type any message and it appears on the grid. A reception display board can greet a named visitor ahead of a 10am meeting, run a hiring announcement, or post the week's safety count. Per-cell color tiles in white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple let you flag a headline in red or box a number in green without opening design software.

For live numbers, the Clock integration shows the current time, day, and date in 12- or 24-hour format and updates itself. TrustMRR pulls live MRR, month-over-month growth, and customer count from your SaaS through a slug, so a sales floor can watch revenue on the wall. Weather, Google Calendar, and a Countdown are on the roadmap and marked coming soon.

Save several boards and, in fullscreen, cycle between them on an interval you choose, anywhere from every 5 minutes up to every 120 minutes. One slide welcomes visitors, the next shows the roadmap, the next posts a quote. The rotation runs on its own, so an office lobby display stays fresh without anyone standing at the screen.

Press F, or use the on-screen control, to go fullscreen: the site chrome hides and only the grid shows, edge to edge. That gives you a clean wall board on a mounted TV with nothing to distract from the message.

Festaboard is a browser web app, so it runs on whatever you already have: a laptop, a spare tablet, a smart TV browser, or a small single-board computer tucked behind the screen. It is light enough for a Raspberry Pi, from a Pi 3A with 512MB of RAM up to a Pi 5, or an RK3568-based Android display running a browser in kiosk mode.

Turn on public sharing, append ?kiosk=1 to the share URL, and the player loads a clean full-screen board with no site chrome, low-motion animation, and sound off by default. Kiosk mode holds a screen Wake Lock so the display never sleeps, and it auto-reloads to recover if the tab has been hidden for a long time. On very low-power hardware, add ?anim=off so text swaps instantly with no animation.

You never need to touch the TV to change what it shows. Edit the board from the dashboard on your laptop and the change pushes to the kiosk screen in about a second, with no reload. That makes office signage a two-minute job: type the new announcement, and the wall updates while you are still at your desk.

Toggle public sharing to get a read-only link at festaboard.com/b/<token> that anyone can open with no account, useful for a remote team that wants the same board on a second screen or for sending the current board to a colleague. Sign-in uses your email and a one-time code, so there is no password to remember, and the whole thing is free.
